What to do if a document isn't syncing to your ERP
Tamit shows a sync tag next to every document: Synced / Pending / Failed. If a document stays "Pending" for more than 10 minutes, or has gone to "Failed" — you need to act.
Common reasons
- ERP downtime — your ERP/your ERP is doing server maintenance. Try again in an hour.
- API token expired — with your ERP this happens after 90 days. Renew it.
- New customer not in the ERP — your ERP won't auto-create one if a valid address is missing.
- Missing SKU — if you sold an item that has no record in your ERP inventory.
- Amount over the limit — your ERP rejects documents above the threshold configured on your account.
How to fix it
- Open the document. At the bottom you'll see the raw error message from the ERP.
- Fix whatever's missing (usually customer details — tax ID, address).
- Click Retry sync.
- If it succeeds — you'll get an official invoice number within seconds.
- If it fails again — screenshot the error and send it to support.
💡 Tip
Document stuck and not going through? Don't manually issue it from inside the ERP — you'll end up with a duplicate. Always fix it in Tamit and hit retry.
The sync queue
Under Settings → Integrations → Queue you'll see every document still pending. Each row has a "Sync" button and an error description. If there are 10+ documents stuck — it's a sign of a broader issue; see sync issues.
