Setting up your books and business details for the first time
Before you start issuing invoices, you need to enter your business details correctly. They appear on every document that goes out to customers — a mistake here means painful corrections later.
What to enter
- Official business name — exactly as it appears on your registration with the authorities.
- Tax / business ID — 9 digits, no spaces.
- Business type — VAT-registered / VAT-exempt / Ltd. company. This affects VAT handling and document format.
- Full address + phone + email — these appear at the bottom of every invoice.
- Trade name (if different) — what customers actually recognize. For example, "a customer" instead of "K.S. Communication Services Ltd."

💡 Tip
If your trade name is different from your registered name — fill in both. The trade name shows in the document header, the registered name appears next to the tax ID at the bottom. That's legal, and it's what customers actually want to see.
Things you can't undo later
Business type and the document number range are set once. Changing them requires contacting support. Double-check before you save.
