Tami confirms appointments automatically on WhatsApp
Instead of you calling every customer the day before, Tami sends them a message: "Confirm / can't make it / reschedule". Their reply updates your calendar automatically. If they don't respond — a follow-up reminder goes out.
How it works
- Book the appointment as usual. Tami picks up the new booking.
- 24 hours before the appointment — Tami sends a message to the customer.
- The customer replies: "Confirmed" / "Reschedule" / "Cancel". Tami understands free-form replies too ("sure" / "yes" / "could we make it half an hour later?").
- If they want to reschedule — Tami offers alternative slots from your open calendar.
- The calendar updates automatically. You only get a notification if something actually needs a decision.
Tami · Business
Hi Danny! You have an appointment tomorrow at 2:00 PM for a haircut. Still on?
2:00 doesn't work, can we do after 4?
Tami · Business
Sure! I've got 4:30. Works?
Perfect 🙏
Settings worth turning on
- First reminder time — defaults to 24 hours before. Options: 48 / 12 / 2 hours.
- Second reminder — if no reply within 4 hours.
- Tone — formal / friendly / casual. Tami adapts.
- Signature — Tami's messages sign off as "your business name" (not "Tami").
💡 Tip
Don't turn confirmations off if you're working solo — they cut 60–70% off your no-show rate, which is the most expensive time on your calendar.
Where to see the statuses
On the calendar, every appointment is color-coded — green = confirmed, yellow = pending, red = no reply / cancelled. You can filter and see all "pending" ones to act on manually if needed.
