Connecting WhatsApp Business

Tamit connects to your business WhatsApp through WAHA — a bridge service. The connection is made by scanning a QR code from inside the WhatsApp app on your phone. Without it, Tami can't reply to customers.

Before you start

Connection steps

  1. Settings → Channels → WhatsApp → Connect.
  2. A QR code will appear on screen.
  3. On your phone: open WhatsApp → menu → Linked devices → Link a device.
  4. Scan the QR. You'll see "Connected" within 5–10 seconds.
  5. Send a test message to yourself — if it shows up in Tamit, the connection is working.

⚠️ Important This isn't an official Meta connection — it goes through WhatsApp Web. If you keep your phone offline for more than 14 days, the connection will drop and you'll need to scan again. See what to do if it drops.
💡 Tip For businesses that depend on WhatsApp as a critical channel — upgrade to the WhatsApp Cloud plan (official Meta). It's on the Tamit roadmap.
